New Class Schedules as of July 20th 2009

Parents,

As I have already informed our students, we are about to change our class schedules starting next week. Class days will remain the same: Adults of Mondays/Wednesdays and Kids on Tuesdays /Thursdays. The Tuesday/Thursday classes will be split up into two classes. We will have ages 10 and under come from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. After that will be ages 11-13 from 6:35 pm to 7:35 pm. It does not matter what rank you are because this is based solely on age. This will help us divide up our students through age groups. Since there are a lot of younger students, we will be able to focus more time to helping those that need more attention and also help instruct the older students with fewer interruptions. The reason we are starting this new schedule early is so that everyone can get acclimated with the new schedule before school starts so there won't be problems in the future. Also, we are changing our Saturday class into a BLACK BELT CLASS. It will be from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm and offered only to BLACK BELTS with the exception of Black Brown Belts with our invitation only. If you have any questions or problems about the new times please come to talk to me. We are hoping this will benefit all our students.
Thank you.

Special Demonstration/Picnic Day

Students/Parents,

We are planning on having a Special Demonstration/Picnic Day in July. We will have all our students practice and train a lot up until that particular day. This will give our students a chance to excel at a different level and have more experience in performing what they have been taught for an audience. This also in turn will allow parents and families to see what and how their child, children or family members have been doing in Kuk Sool Won. The demo itself should not run too long and then we will members have been doing in Kuk Sool. The demo itself should not run too long and then we will continue with a picnic/fun day afterwards. We are looking to rent out a shelter at Lake Robinson (off of Wade Hampton). There will be lots of grassy areas to play games and sports, and for parents and families to just relax by the water and in the sun. We will have food and will probably ask that everyone try and bring a dish or something so that there will be lots of food for everyone. All families and friends of our students are welcome to attend and have fun. This way the students are able to "hang out" with other students outside of class and for everyone to become closer as a "Kuk Sool family." We are hoping to schedule this date for a Sunday that everyone can come since most people are busy on Saturday. The two dates that would work best are July 12 (more likely) or July 19. So parents I'm asking that you look ahead at your schedule to see which date would be best for you and your family. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can set up everything. If both dates are good for you then let us know that too. Thank you and we will be giving out more information as the time nears. Also, check our website for announcements and about upcoming events.
