Kuk Sool Won terminology

Kuk Sa Nim instructs us to use Korean words to describe our actions in Kuk Sool Won, because this reminds us of the origins from Korea.  This adds an extra level of difficulty learning Kuk Sool Won, but is actually good for us, because we use our left hemisphere for language and speech to learn a foreign language during martial arts class.  Here are some links I've found that are helpful in understanding what you may be hearing in class:

Vietnamese New Year Party 2011

The New Year based on the Chinese lunar calendar is officially 2/3/11. The Vietnamese Societies of Greenville and Spartanburg have celebrated on 1/22/11 and 1/29/11 respectively. SBN Toan and the Kuk Sool Won school students provided the dragon dances. Here are Eric Kao, John Leong, SBN Huy Pham in photos 1-3. Photos 4-5 include Matthew Valdez, Bill Leong, and John Leong. Promotion Ceremony November 20, 2010

Here are photos from our promotion ceremony and Thanksgiving party today. Summer Picnic

We had our 2nd annual picnic at Lake Robinson on August 1st with a demonstration again.  We all had a good time.  The weather wasn't boiling hot or rainy.  We got lucky.  Here are some pictures of Sa Beon Nim Huy flying high.

Annual seminar and Black Belt Promotions July 2010

Kuk Sa Nim, his eldest son Sang Jin, and Master Barry Harmon came to Columbia, SC on July 2 for the Annual seminar and Black Belt Promotions.  Please congratulate: Pu Sa Beom Nim Suzanne Miskin, Jo Kyo Nim Seth Windsor, and Jo Kyo Nim Fred Dotson!  The latter 2 are now in our Black Belt Wall of Fame.
